Vaccinations for BAME Communities

The NHS wants to ensure everyone gets a vaccine whatever their concerns are. We are aware that BAME communities are being targeted with anti-vaccination messages online which is causing them concerns around the vaccine.
The COVID-19 vaccine is safe, halal and effective, and the more people that have the vaccine, the sooner we can all go back to our normal lives
Those in our BAME communities are at a greater risk of severe illness from COVID-19 so we urge you to get your vaccine when you are contacted by the NHS.
BAME communities continue to be disproportionately impacted by COVID19, so it is important that these communities get necessary protection. Getting the #COVIDVaccine as soon as you can will help protect yourself, your families and your communities.
The NHS will let you know when it’s your turn to have the vaccine. It’s important not to contact the NHS for it before then.
